Digimon is the name given to various forms of life that live in the Digital World, a parallel dimension originated from the computer network of the earth, and DigiQuartz, size intermediate between the dimension where Earth is located and the Digital World. In Digimon Tamers gets to be compared with the DigiWorld magical worlds, and digimons with legendary creatures like elves and fairies. Also, are presented to the public DigiGnomos beings inhabitants of Digital World Digimon that are not. Eventually, along the series can be seen humans living in Digimundo such as Gennai.
Digimon was produced by Toei Animation and Bandai of Japan Series was broadcast in Japan by Fuji Television and TV Asahi, in the United States of America by Jetix and Disney XD channel, and by Fox Kids in Brazil, Rede Globo, Jetix, RedeTV and Disney XD.
