Minecraft
Minecraft is a sandbox and independent video game that allows using the building blocks (cubes) of which the world is made. It was created by Markus "Notch" Persson. The development of Minecraft began around the 10th of May 2009. The gameplay is based on the game Dwarf Fortress, Dungeon Keeper and Infiniminer. Minecraft is basically a game made of blocks, and the landscapes and most of its objects composed of them, and allowing them to be removed and relocated elsewhere to create buildings, stacking them. In addition to mechanical mining and collection resources for construction, there is mixing in the game of survival and exploration. Play Minecraft is to use it as a creative tool. There is no way to win in Minecraft, since there is no required goals and dramatic storyline that needs to be followed. Players spend most of their time just mining and building blocks of virtual material, hence the name of the game. once the players have collected enough and built an inventory of resources, they use these acquisitions to design virtual houses and landscapes, often building all types of block structures. The game had great prominence in the media when it was considered one of the best indie games of 2010. [Citation needed] It also sold over 1 million copies on January 12, 2011, shortly after the Beta version of the game have been released. Notch says that even with the game released, the game will receive constant updates. More than 11 million unique users registered on the official game site, of which 25% bought the game. Still in Beta reached more than eleven million records, and sales of nearly three million. So much for the mode of single-player game (single player) and for multi-player (multiplayer), the first step is for the player to create a world to inhabit. Before the game put the player in the game space, a three-dimensional world to be created by Minecraft.Their worlds are random, completely open and virtually endless, with several square kilometers. After the intricate landscapes and biomes a world of Minecraft be created, the player is put into a spawn point. Minecraft not presented to new users with a page or blank space. Instead, it presents a game: a landscape and a simulated set of tools to manipulate it. All creativity comes in Minecraft fiction presented by the game. To build something from wood blocks, is required before cutting down trees. To build with stone, is required before mining blocks from the ground. Minecraft creative tools are embedded in your simulated world. In these early experiences in a world, the player is simply a beach with no clear idea of what can be done, what is the goal or what hazards may be present in the game, not to mention that there is nothing in terms of education or guidance implemented in the game interface. The game is tantalizingly silent on this point (in terms of both visual and auditory information), perhaps taking a player shy confusion, an uninformed player in a sense of complacency, or a player's sense of adventure that this simulation of a square world is truly open to exploitation by the player. Not surprisingly for players of the 2010s, Minecraft players rarely seem to have some difficulty with the problem of what to do next after you start the game. The open sandbox game is so inviting for many players as it is intimidating to some, and the generation of a world has attracted many players immediately to the operating method, rooted in everyone to explore the highest peaks and deepest caves that could be found. Started by literally punching trees (and other objects) with the bare hand square, the player then stocks wood, stone and other building blocks of the world. These items can then be recombined using the interface construction of the first game to create a Workbench - allowing a larger and more complex interface construction - and then more complex items, out of simple and basic components. Thus, we find that creativity (in analogy with LEGO package) is not something only offered by the elements of the game, but something integral to creating a player carry anything inside the game. E, more importantly, how to quickly discover when the sun completes its square the game arc in the sky, recombination skillful items is a necessary part of the basics of the game. For Minecraft this is not just an architectural simulator, but a game in which The player must make protective structures against the number of monsters that come out at night - spiders, skeletons, zombies and the famous Creeper which has been emblematic of the game in various ways. Wood, sand, coal, stone, diamond and others serve a purpose for each one, and as the player progresses, creating a need to establish stronger Pick miles of paths, mine cars to move more efficiently through the world; torches to illuminate dark crevices, and recombine blocks (stone, iron glass) into more complex parts that can help build a fort to protect themselves against the monsters of the night. Exploring the space of this world, the player can collect resources (iron, timber, diamonds, gold) to build small items, tools, ornaments and buildings. To carry out this operation, the player uses his avatar, and you need to build your own shelter, because the system day and night game makes dangerous creatures occupy any open place and not illuminated at night. With the shelter ready, the players, mostly start mining and underground caverns to obtain materials for new buildings and artifacts. With this, they are exposed to the danger of the underground levels, which are occupied by aggressive creatures. The world of Minecraft is therefore both a private virtual world recombinatório for creative purposes and for purposes of survival - nothing in the game tells you that you need to create large and elaborate structures, but the game encourages you to quickly do something. To avoid death (and the loss of all possessions that were in the body, starting back at the spawn point), the player must create structures and armor to survive the night attack. Admittedly, this is a relatively simple challenge; can to interpret the goal of the game as simply "not die" and make a simple construction to hide the length of the night (seven minutes in real time). However, as part of the brilliance of Minecraft is in the balance of these elements creative and survival, players rarely only expect to spend the night, taking the opportunity to dig, discover new materials and construct objects of increasing complexity.
